Hālau Makana Lani is dedicated to the preservation of Hawaiian culture through the teaching of hula, its language and Aloha – love, respect, humbleness, discipline and commitment to excellence.

Our Hālau hula (hula school) offers lessons to individuals both young and young at heart (ages 4 thru 100) with varying abilities.We open heartedly invite you to join us in keeping HULA alive!!

Ho’ike 2009 was a huge success!!!

Mahalo Nui Loa, thank you very much, to all who came and experienced the excitement of our 4th Annual Ho’ike 2009, as we presented world renowned artists, The Makaha Sons, and up-and-coming artist Faith Ako.  We are proud to say, the beautiful voices of these two wonderful musical groups will be breezing back into San Ramon next year on June 6th, 2010 so please stay tuned for ticket information.  You won’t wanna miss this one!!!
